ONTARIO HOSPITAL ASSOCIATION RESPONDS TO AUDITOR GENERAL’S REPORT
TORONTO, Oct. 20 /CNW/ - The Ontario Hospital Association (OHA) welcomes today's release of the Special Report of the Auditor General of Ontario on Consultant Use in Selected Health Organizations. Recognizing that there are valuable lessons to be learned from the report, the OHA plans to review the auditor's recommendations very carefully, and will work with the Government of Ontario and all Ontario hospitals to implement new and progressive procurement best practices.
OHA President and CEO, Tom Closson, will be available for comment by phone throughout the day, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
