Ontario Mayoral Candidate says No to City-Wide WiFi
STRATFORD, ON, Sept. 5 /CNW/ - A retired police officer running for mayor of Stratford, Ontario vows to stop city-wide WiFi "because it's unsafe."
"Hundreds of thousands of people visit the Stratford Theatre Festival every year. They don't want to be microwaved when they get here," said Martin Weatherall, who spent 28 years with Toronto's Police Service."
Weatherall is campaigning on a platform to reduce public exposure to microwave radiation, including WiFi in schools and hospitals where the most vulnerable to microwaves are increasingly exposed.
"Biological changes occur from microwaves, that's a fact," said Weatherall. "It's time Politicians spoke up about this."
