Ontario Ministry of Government Services names Allstream Vendor of Record for
videoconferencing services

Two-year contract includes options for extension

TORONTO, May 11 /CNW/ - Allstream, Canada's all-business communications provider, is pleased to announce that it has attained Vendor of Record status with the Ontario Ministry of Government Services for the provision of videoconferencing products, services and support. The two-year contract includes the option to extend for three, one-year renewals.

The Ontario Ministry of Government Services initiated the Request for Proposals after identifying the need to establish a corporate Vendor of Record arrangement in order to consolidate demand, leverage volume and reduce costs. The Vendor of Record arrangement will see Allstream provide new videoconferencing products and solutions throughout the Province of Ontario, and to also provide maintenance and support services for equipment currently in use within the Ontario Public Service as well as the broader public sector.
