Credit Valley Hospital Radiation Therapists Vote to Join ONA
MISSISSAUGA, ON, Nov. 20, 2017 /CNW/ - The Ontario Nurses' Association (ONA) is excited to welcome 69 Radiation Therapists.
Late last week, Credit Valley Hospital Radiation Therapists voted to join ONA. ONA President Linda Haslam-Stroud, RN says, "We are honoured that Radiation Therapists have trusted ONA to best represent them. It demonstrates once again that health-care professionals recognize ONA as the obvious choice when it comes to choosing a union."
"ONA does its very best to represent our members, providing a wide range of support, services and expertise to address their workplace and practice issues. We welcome our new Credit Valley Radiation Therapists and look forward to providing excellent services and representation to them," she said.
ONA is the union representing 65,000 registered nurses and health-care professionals, as well as 16,000 nursing student affiliates, providing care in hospitals, long-term care facilities, public health, the community, clinics and industry.
