Ontario pastor misses net - but wins big - in Titan Equity's Million Dollar Real Estate Dream Shot contest at Toronto FC game

TORONTO, Sept. 28, 2013 /CNW/ - Ryan Jantzi, a 29-year-old pastor from Clinton, ON., was given $10,000 in a TITAN Equity Group Ltd. real estate investment as a consolation prize after his shot to win a $1-million Richmond Hill dream home fell short of the net at halftime of today's Toronto FC home game.

"I did my best," said Jantzi. "I wasn't expecting anything after I missed the shot, so the gift of a $10,000 investment in a TITAN Equity project is amazing."

It was the culmination of the Million Dollar Real Estate Dream Shot contest, sponsored by TITAN, Canada's most innovative real estate investment and development company.

Jantzi kicked a ball from midfield toward an opening in the net. If the ball had gone in, he would have won the $1-million dream home.

"It's unfortunate that Ryan didn't win," said Lance Kotton, TITAN's President and CEO. "We were all pulling for him. However, we were delighted to present Ryan with the $10,000 investment."

The contest attracted more than 4,500 online entrants.
