Ontario Shores Public Statement - June 3, 2010
WHITBY, ON, June 3 /CNW/ - Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences (Ontario Shores) has been advised by Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) of the death of one of its patients, a young man "A.N."
"Ontario Shores is a community of patients, families and caregivers. We are deeply saddened over the loss of this young man and our sincere condolences are extended to the family," says Glenna Raymond, President and CEO, Ontario Shores. "Our main focus will be to support the family, our patients and staff during this time."
Ontario Shores is a public hospital and psychiatric facility that provides specialized assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services for people living with complex mental illness.
