TORONTO, Sept. 26, 2013 /CNW/ - The Ontario Association of Children's Aid Societies and its member agencies will launch a public education campaign on October 1 to remind Ontarians that child abuse remains a major concern in Ontario.
Children in our communities are still suffering abuse at the hands of adults they know and trust, and that is why Ontario's Children's Aid Societies will be educating and building awareness during Child Abuse Prevention month.
This year, the public is reminded that child safety and family well-being begin in the community, and everyone has a duty to report abuse and neglect.
