About Viamede: Located on Stoney Lake in the Kawarthas, Viamede offers Torontonians a stunning lakeside escape from the city life. Rebuilt after a fire in 1907, the resort was taken over in 1985 by Don Bennet who enhanced the amenities and brought on a chapel and the Hilltop building. This is the first major renovation the resort will be taking on in nearly 30 years.
