TIVERTON and TORONTO, Aug. 27, 2018 /CNW/ - This week, Ontario Power Generation (OPG) and Bruce Power released their 2018 collaboration report, Powering Ontario Together.
The report highlights innovative, collaborative initiatives that will drive efficiencies and deliver reliable, low cost electricity to Ontario's families and business for the long term.

The report details collaboration, environmental benefits, and economic impacts resulting from refurbishment projects at OPG's Darlington nuclear generating station and Bruce Power.
"By working together and sharing information, OPG and Bruce Power are improving efficiencies on our respective refurbishment programs and throughout our nuclear station operations," said Jeff Lyash, OPG President and CEO. "OPG's refurbishment of Darlington's Unit 2 reactor is now over 60 per cent complete, and remains on time and on budget while generating thousands of jobs and billions of dollars in economic benefits for Ontario."
