OPG and Trees Ontario are Replanting the Town Roots in "Canada's Prettiest Town"
OPG, in partnership with Trees Ontario, will work with the Goderich Trees Project to help the town of Goderich re-green after a devastating tornado
TORONTO, April 25, 2012 /CNW/ - Ontario Power Generation and Trees Ontario are joining residents of Goderich to help the Town re-green after last year's tornado that destroyed many of the community's beloved trees.

Replanting the Town Roots, a tree planting event, is taking place on Saturday, April 28th from 10 am to 1 pm, starting at the Goderich YMCA and extending throughout the damaged residential lands around town. There will be an educational workshop and tree planting event to help re-green the region.
This community tree plant will help the Town of Goderich regain some of its tree cover after losing many of the town's beautiful trees during last summer's devastating tornado. "OPG and Trees Ontario are excited to work with Goderich residents and the Goderich Trees Project for this upcoming planting event on April 28th," says Rob Keen, CEO, Trees Ontario. "The trees planted at this event will beautify the town, improve the health and well-being of Goderich residents and help this lovely, historic town recover, one tree at a time."
