Ceremony to Include First Public Viewing of Pathway of Memories
ORILLIA, ON, Sept. 12, 2018 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to join OPP Commissioner Hawkes, OPP Youth Foundation Chair Dave Lee, dignitaries and special guests for the official dedication of the Pathway of Memories.
The Pathway of Memories serves to honour current and former OPP members and their spouses who have contributed to the history of the OPP and who have had a memory stone donated in their name. The Pathway of Memories and the marker stone will be viewed publicly for the first time. The ceremony includes a ribbon cutting to mark the first installment of the 226 inscribed memory stones that have been donated to date.
