TORONTO, Sept. 25, 2012 /CNW/ - The Queen's Park Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment has completed an investigation relating to the e-mail harassment of a government employee. The investigation centered on the accused, obtaining private photographs of the victim through illegal means and then threatening to release them, to the victim's friends, family, and co-workers if demands were not met.
On Monday September 24, 2012, the OPP arrested and charged 54-year-old Robert E. GUILLEMETTE of North Bay, Ontario with two counts of Criminal Harassment and three counts of Personation with Intent, all contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at Old City Hall in Toronto, on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 3:00 p.m.
