OPP Searching for 2 Wanted Men in Relation to Trenton Homicide
Suspects Armed and Dangerous
TRENTON, ON, Feb. 28 /CNW/ - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Quinte West Detachment with the assistance of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) is investigating the shooting death of a 35 year old Trenton woman which occurred during the evening of February 27, 2010 in Trenton.
The OPP is searching for 2 suspects who are considered armed and dangerous in relation to this active investigation. Photos of the suspects are attached to this release.
Wanted for murder are:
1) Jason Tyler FROST, age 30 of no fixed address. Frost is described as a white male, 5'8" tall, approximately 180lbs, with a brown beard, short dark hair with a bald spot and a missing upper front tooth. 2) Michael Wallace GARNISS, age 49 of no fixed address. GARNISS is described as a white male, 6'1" tall, approximately 200lbs, with dark long length hair. He has a tear drop tattoo under his right eye and walks with a limp.
The suspects may be operating a dark coloured pick-up truck with a white cap. Both suspects are considered armed and dangerous and are considered a risk to public safety.
Anyone who may know of the whereabouts of these 2 wanted suspects or who may come into contact with them should not approach them and contact the police as soon as possible by calling 9-1-1.
The name of the victim in this investigation is being withheld pending police notifying the next of kin. This ongoing investigation is under the direction of Detective Inspector Shawn Glassford of the CIB.
