TORONTO, Aug. 31, 2012 /CNW/ - (SD&G) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry (SD&G) detachment is seeking any information that may assist it with an ongoing fatal collision investigation.
On Monday, August 27, 2012 at approximately 1:00 a.m., SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 401, South Dundas Township. Three people suffered fatal injuries while three others were sent to the Ottawa Civic Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
SD&G OPP investigators are asking anyone who may have been in the area from Brockville to Cornwall between the hours of 11:30 p.m. - 1:30 a.m., traveling in either direction on Highway 401 and may have observed the vehicles (a tractor trailer or passenger van) involved in the collision to contact their local OPP detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
