OPSEU Members Protest Changes to Ontario Disability Support Program
SAULT STE. MARIE, ON, June 20, 2012 /CNW/ - Members of Ontario Public Service Employees Union Local 601 will hold a Sidewalk Bake Sale and Rally to protest changes to the Ontario Disability Support Program.

"We're donating the proceeds to the local Habitat for Humanity Non-Profit Housing Program," said Local Vice-President Jenny Craig. "We chose this organization because our community needs quality affordable housing and we need to help break the cycle of poverty." The McGuinty government is making things worse for ODSP clients, said Local activist Arlene Proulx.
"The government will no longer fund emergency home repairs for some of the most vulnerable people in our community. The Liberals really need to rethink their priorities."
