Oral Health Month: the Ordre des dentistes du Québec Teams up with Les Rôtisseries St-Hubert

MONTREAL, March 21, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - To mark Oral Health Month 2013, the Ordre des dentistes du Québec and Les Rôtisseries St-Hubert are joining forces to remind Quebecers that oral hygiene and healthy habits go together.

From March 25 to April 7, a message about oral health ("Bon appétit! Remember to take good care of your teeth."), signed by both the ODQ and St-Hubert, will be stapled to the bags used for all Les Rôtisseries St-Hubert take-out, drive-thru and home delivery orders.

With this campaign the Order and Les Rôtisseries St-Hubert want to make family meals a chance for parents to talk about healthy habits, like maintaining good oral health.

"When it comes to dental health, good habits start at home," says Barry Dolman, President of the Ordre des dentistes du Québec. "It's up to parents to teach their children good habits, starting at a very young age. That means brushing their teeth, ideally after every meal, and flossing daily."

"For example, we led the way by banning smoking in all our restaurants starting in 2005, back when people were still debating the dangers of second-hand smoke.
