OSC Announces Roundtable on the Option of Discontinuing Embedded Commissions
TORONTO, June 19, 2017 /CNW/ - The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) today announced that it will host a roundtable to facilitate further stakeholder input on Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) Consultation Paper 81-408 Consultation on the Option of Discontinuing Embedded Commissions.
The roundtable will take place on September 18, 2017, from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the 22nd floor of the OSC's offices, located at 20 Queen Street West in Toronto, Ontario.
The event will include panel discussions on the themes emerging from the consultation. The panel discussions will reflect a diversity of views, so as to facilitate a balanced debate.
Stakeholders wishing to participate as panelists at the roundtable are asked to send an email with full contact details to [email protected].
Additional details regarding the roundtable, including the agenda, list of panelists and information about how stakeholders can register to attend, will be published the week of August 14.
