OSC to Host Teletownhalls during Fraud Prevention Month
TORONTO, March 1, 2017 /CNW/ - The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) will host teletownhalls on March 2 and March 30 during Fraud Prevention Month, to help people learn more about frauds and scams that commonly target investors in Ontario.
Teletownhalls are a way for the OSC to connect with thousands of Ontarians at a time. Teletownhalls work much like a call-in radio show where OSC staff provide information, answer questions and conduct live polls over the phone.
