CALGARY, Sept. 7, 2017 /CNW/ - Landmark Cinemas Canada announces Ottawa-region Movie Lovers may now enjoy a premium movie-going experience featuring Luxury Recliner Power-Seating with the added convenience of free Reserved Seating – without the premium price – at Landmark's Orleans 10 and Kanata 24 theatre locations.
Landmark Cinemas 10 Orleans, located at 3752 Innes Road, welcomes movie lovers to experience the comfort, and added benefits of this new premium movie-going experience in each of the theatre's ten, newly renovated auditoriums, and its enhanced concession offering featuring Coca-Cola Freestyle that allows users to dispense more than 150 sparkling and still beverages on demand, including more than 70 low/no-calorie options and 90-plus caffeine-free selections.
Landmark Cinemas 24, Kanata, located in the Kanata Entertainment Centrum, 801 Kanata Ave., invites movie lovers to experience this new premium movie-going experience with the unveiling of the theatre's initial six, newly renovated auditoriums featuring luxury recliner power-seating. All auditoriums, along with an extensive renovation and enhancement of the theatres guest touchpoints including its IMAX® experience, concession stand and commons areas to create a market-leading movie-going experience are scheduled for completion in the Spring of 2018. The theatre will remain open during its renovation.
The introduction of Premium Powered Recliner Seating necessitates the reduction of overall theatre capacity, providing a significant increase in personal space and a more relaxing, disruption free movie-going experience. Free reserved seating is just one more added benefit of this new, premium movie-going experience. Reserved seating tickets may be purchased at landmarkcinemas.com or through ATOM Tickets, the first-of-its-kind theatrical mobile ticketing platform and app featuring pre-movie concession ordering and exclusive, express line pick-up.
"As we looked at new strategies to enhance the Guest Experience, we reviewed a variety of options being deployed throughout the world. It was critical to provide our guests with a premium movie-going experience without the premium price. The all recliner model, with the added value of complimentary reserved seating, is one we feel will resonate with our guests and provide a compelling reason to attend the movies more frequently," said Bill Walker, Chief Operating Officer, Landmark Cinemas Canada.
"There's no question, experiencing a movie in the comfort of a premium-powered recliner theatre seat is a game changer," added Walker. "We are confident that once you make the switch to watching a movie in one of our recliners, there is no going back to traditional seating."
