"Outer Beauty" captures the imagination and the heart.
Steve Levinson's first show in Toronto in 10 years.
TORONTO, Nov. 6, 2012 /CNW/ - "Outer Beauty," running November 7-20 at the ARTA Gallery in Toronto's Distillery District, is photographer Steve Levinson's first major Toronto exhibit in ten years.
Steve Levinson originally took up photography in the 1970s, and won awards in his first two competitions. He then put his camera aside in order to follow other artistic pursuits, but in 2000 returned actively to the art of photography.
"I am thrilled about my upcoming show," remarked Steve in a recent interview, "With this collection, as with past collections, I have focused on capturing candid, spontaneous images that show visual events that transpire right in front of us every day; we need only take notice of that which is not ordinary."
This will be Steve's fifth solo exhibit; his images have been on view in galleries across Ontario and are represented in over 100 private collections. In addition, Steve's work has been selected by such prominent designers as Brian Gluckstein, Greta Valen and Michael Doyle.
