Over 250 Beer Store outlets will be open this Civic Holiday Monday, August 4
TORONTO, July 30, 2014 /CNW/ - Ontarians enjoying the Civic Holiday long weekend will be able to stock up on their favourite brew all weekend, including Monday.
This holiday Monday, 252 Beer Store outlets will be open for business across Ontario from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., where you can find more than 400 brands produced by 100 brewers to help you enjoy the long weekend. All Beer Store outlets will be open during normal business hours on Saturday and Sunday, August 2 and 3.
The Beer Store must comply with the provincial Retail Business Holidays Act, which prohibits all alcohol retailers, including the LCBO and wine stores, from opening on statutory holidays. Under the Act, the August Civic Holiday is not considered a statutory holiday, and retail alcohol stores may open as long as municipalities do not object.
A list of the 252 Beer Store outlets to open on Monday, August 4, can be found here: http://www.thebeerstore.ca/sites/default/files/untitled%20folder/Civic%202014%20R1.pdf
The Beer Store hopes all Ontarians enjoy a happy, sunny and safe Civic Holiday weekend. Please ensure that you enjoy our products responsibly, and never drive or operate a boat after consuming alcohol.
