- New episodes of popular series Oprah's Next Chapter, Oprah's Lifeclass, Oprah: Where Are They Now?, Six Little McGhees, Welcome to Sweetie Pie's, Iyanla: Fix My Life and The Devil You Know
- Compelling new crime series Addicted to the Life, Motives and Murder: Cracking the Case and Final 24 make their network debut
TORONTO, July 25, 2013 /CNW/ - OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network (Canada) announced today its lineup for fall 2013 featuring new episodes of returning favourites Oprah's Next Chapter, Oprah's Lifeclass, Oprah: Where Are They Now?, Six Little McGhees, Welcome to Sweetie Pie's, Iyanla: Fix My Life and The Devil You Know. The network also introduced four new series including Addicted to the Life, a true crime documentary series that chronicles the lives of criminals who can't break the habit; Motives and Murder: Cracking the Case, a true crime drama that returns to the scenes of the most perplexing crimes to reveal the clues that led detectives to the killers; Final 24, a documentary series exploring the last 24 hours in the lives of iconic figures; and Houston Beauty, a series that follows the owners and eclectic trainees of the oldest continuously operated licensed beauty school in Texas.

WELCOME TO SWEETIE PIE'S (NEW EPISODES)

When Robbie Montgomery, a 1960s backup singer and former Ikette, suffered a collapsed lung and had to stop singing, she decided to pour her talents into another creative venture: a soul food restaurant called Sweetie Pie's. At her family-centered eateries, which include Sweetie Pie's at the Mangrove, Sweetie Pie's Upper Crust and the original Sweetie Pie's established in 1996, which Miss Robbie runs with her son, Tim, both hilarity and drama are offered in equal measure. This docu-series follows the loud, loving and often singing Montgomery family as they work to expand their empire, one soulful dish at a time.
MOTIVES AND MURDER: CRACKING THE CASE (NEW SERIES)

Combining the thrill of a mystery with the visceral experience of true crime drama, Motives & Murders: Cracking the Case returns to the scene of the most perplexing crimes and follows detectives as they unearth the clues that lead them to the killer. With news footage, interviews and gripping re-enactments, the series explores the personal toll on the victim's family and friends, and also features the law enforcement agents who work tirelessly to track down the perpetrator and finally crack the case.
FINAL 24 (NEW SERIES)

Final 24 is a compelling documentary series unlocking the hidden secrets and psychological flaws that resulted in the tragic deaths of iconic figures. SIX LITTLE MCGHEES (NEW EPISODES)

OWN's popular documentary series Six Little McGhees returns this fall with all-new episodes. Six Little McGhees follows the inspirational lives of Mia and Rozonno McGhee as they juggle marriage, a family business and their six adorable two-year-olds. When Mia and Rozonno became parents to Columbus, Ohio's first sextuplets, no amount of books or advice could have prepared them for life with multiples. Their close family and friend helpers made the infant years easier to manage, but as the children grow so will Mia and Rozonno's parenting skills.The helpers won't be around forever, and these parents are determined to grow more independent from their support team. With potty training and many other milestones soon on the way, and the task of managing a growing business, Mia and Rozonno are bracing for all the excitement and chaos of doing it on their own. In this brand new season, the kids suit up for swimming lessons and their first camping trip, while Mia and Rozonno work to find time for each other in the midst of all the happy chaos. Houston Beauty follows Ms. Glenda Jemison, the owner and director of Franklin Beauty School, the oldest continuously operated licensed beauty school in Texas. The Jemison family may be established pillars of the community, but their trainees come from all walks of life. While trying to balance school with their erratic home lives, many of these students do whatever it takes to make ends meet: whether working behind makeup counters, as kitchen beauticians or exotic dancers, these tough and talented pupils all share the pursuit of a better life.
