Oxford Properties Brings Innovation to the Table with the Opening of Market & Co., a First-Of-Its-Kind Food Market Concept
NEWMARKET, ON, Sept. 7, 2018 /CNW/ - Today, Oxford Properties celebrates the grand opening of Market & Co., the first food market in Canada located within a premium shopping centre environment, at Upper Canada in Newmarket, Ontario. From authentic Neapolitan pizza at Canada's first MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza Company, to fresh oysters at Pier 87 Fish Market & Grill's raw bar, Market & Co. features an artisanal mix of merchants with a focus on fresh, local fare.
Market & Co. doors officially opened at 8:30 a.m. with a festive bread breaking ceremony followed by live entertainment, complimentary cooking classes with Chef Julian Pancer, food stations and giveaways. The event was attended by the community and local dignitaries including Tony Van Bynen, Mayor of Newmarket.

Located in the heart of the market, Kitchen & Co. will host regular events, pop-ups and workshops to provide guests with immersive foodie experiences and opportunities to learn from, and get to know their local market merchants.
