Packers Plus Announces Strategic Acquisition of Texas-Based Completions Companies

CALGARY, Jan. 30, 2014 /CNW/ - Packers Plus Energy Services Inc., the innovator of open hole multi-stage completions systems, has completed the acquisition of Texas-based companies Eagle Downhole Solutions, LLC (majority position) and CMC Machine Works, LLC.

By expanding our engineering resources, we will be better positioned to develop, test and market new tools to continue advancing the completions market as well as fast track the expansion into emerging completion product lines."

Operating out of Conroe, TX, Eagle Downhole Solutions provides downhole tools and product development solutions to the oil and gas industry to solve completion and production issues in shale field development. The company is the creator of the E-Pak ESP Packer, a specialty completion tool designed to protect casing from high levels of sour gas.

Conroe-based CMC Machine Works offers high-end manufacturing and machining services that will add to Packers Plus state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities.
