MONTRÉAL, May 7, 2020 /CNW Telbec/ - The Société du Palais des congrès de Montréal is proud to announce Mr. Hubert Bolduc, President of Investissement Québec International, has joined its board of directors. The Québec cabinet confirmed his appointment on April 29, for a four-year term.
A longtime ambassador for the city
Mr. Bolduc was named head of Investissement Québec International in September 2019.
After working as a senior public servant with the Executive Council of Québec, he took over as President and CEO of Montréal International in 2016.
Mr. Bolduc was also Cascades' Vice-President of Communications and Public Affairs from 2004 to 2012, served as advisor to the Québec Premier from 2001 to 2003, and worked as a consultant for the NATIONAL public relations firm from 1998 to 2000.
He holds a Bachelor of Political Science from Université du Québec à Montréal, a Master's Degree in Communications from the University of Stirling in Scotland, and an MBA from HEC Montréal. Mr. Bolduc has chaired the boards of Manufacturiers et Exportateurs du Québec and Earth Day. He currently sits on the boards of the Montreal Council on Foreign Relations, Montréal International, Scale AI, and La Capitale Civil Service Mutual.
Two other board member terms renewed
In addition to Mr. Bolduc's arrival, the Québec cabinet also recognized the contribution of two other board members by renewing their terms for four more years. Ms. Céline Gamache, who until recently managed the consulting services of Prud'homme Groupe-conseil, and Ms. Annie Tremblay, President of the firm ESSENCE conseil stratégique, joined the board in November 2015. Their renewals reaffirm their commitment to the Palais.
