Deal adds to existing operations in the District of Muskoka
TORONTO, March 5, 2018 /CNW/ - Today, Park Lawn Corporation (TSX: PLC) ("PLC") announced the purchase of Billingsley Funeral Home in Huntsville, Ontario. The purchase continues PLC's expansion in Canada and the US.
"The purchase of Billingsley Funeral Home further expands our presence in the Ontario market," stated Andrew Clark, Chairman and CEO of PLC. "Billingsley's proximity to our existing operations in the GTA makes this business a great fit to our existing portfolio of assets in Ontario."
Highlights of the transaction include:
- Billingsley Funeral Home in Huntsville, ON operated by Kevin and Susan Billingsley.
- Total purchase price of $ 1.7 million, was funded from PLC's existing credit facility
- The purchase multiple is within PLC's publicly-stated targeted EBITDA multiple range.
