Parkdale Concert Celebrates Community Kids
KUPE, local musicians and businesses come together to support free music education
TORONTO, June 4 /CNW/ - To celebrate the importance of music and the arts, KUPE Arts Society and Sway will host the first ever noteXnote concert in Toronto's Parkdale community.
KUPE, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing free music to children aged 7 - 13, is on the quest to find a permanent home in the Parkdale community. To kick off the campaign, KUPE and Edelman Public Relations' The Little Give have joined forces with the Parkdale Village BIA to present the first-ever community concert to help KUPE find a space to call their own.
With the support of the Parkdale Village BIA and surrounding businesses, on Friday, June 4, a public concert will be held in Toronto's Parkdale area from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Toronto Public Library Parkdale Branch, featuring Sway, Dane Harstell, Mike Schlosser, and Dan Miller among others.
Come and enjoy the celebration and lend a hand to find KUPE a home.
