Parliamentary Secretary Arif Virani Highlights $6.9 million in Arts and Culture Funding in London and Chatham Français
The Government of Canada's recent investments support 56 arts and culture organizations in London and Chatham
LONDON, ON, July 25, 2018 /CNW/ - Arif Virani, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Canadian Heritage and Multiculturalism, today highlighted $6.9 million in recent government funding for arts and culture organizations in London and Chatham. Mr. Virani made the announcement on behalf of the Honourable Pablo Rodriguez, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Multiculturalism.
The funding helps arts and culture organizations promote the arts, support local festivals and encourage emerging and established artists.
