MONTRÉAL, Jan. 23, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - Développement économique Saint-Laurent (DESTL) is proud to announce that it is partnering with the startup Idéation6 to establish the first industrial co-creation laboratory in Québec.
To better respond to business needs, DESTL constantly enhances its service offer. With this agreement, it will be able to offer a turnkey infrastructure based on the Ideation6 platform to any industrial firm wishing to organize cutting-edge brainstorming sessions.
"Saint-Laurent owes its economic vitality to its strong industrial base, so it's important to support the growth of its manufacturers, particularly the most innovative ones," explained Luc Duguay, interim general manager of DESTL.
This ideation platform is designed and developed by the Montreal startup Ideation6. Teams use the platform to produce ideas in response to a challenge. Each submits its best idea to a jury on the platform. This fun tool quickly produces solutions and the rich ideas generated can be easily reused.
"This original initiative will enable local industrial firms to accelerate their search for innovative ideas to set themselves apart here and abroad," said François Auger, president of d'Ideation6. The industrial co-creation lab is available to all Québec businesses.
