Party for Humanity raises over $20,000
Formerly known as the President's Gala - a formal dinner to mark the end of the Association's President's annual term - the event was completely reinvented this year as the Party for Humanity held at the Fermenting Cellar in Toronto's Distillery District.
The event, which invited guests to attend in casual wear - a rarity for the industry - showcased an array of food stations, drinks, dancing and a live band. The fundraiser was held in the form of ticket sales, raffles and a silent auction. Proceeds will be put towards Habitat for Humanity Toronto's efforts to build affordable housing for low-income families.
