SAINT JOHN, July 31, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Officials at the Saint John Airport have received confirmation of the new flight schedule for PASCAN Aviation with service from Quebec City direct to the Saint John Airport. The new service will also connect Saint John to Bonaventure, Quebec, and Wabush, Newfoundland and Labrador.
The schedule includes daily flights, five days per week, scheduled to begin this Fall.
Serge Charron, President of PASCAN Aviation, is excited about the expanded route schedule. "Adding Saint John to our route will expand the opportunities for businesses, passengers, and cargo in the Greater Saint John area, and for those in Quebec, Wabush and Bonaventure. PASCAN Aviation is the largest independent airline in Quebec and currently serves 15 communities in Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador, and now New Brunswick initially using JetStream 32 planes, and eventually ATR-42 aircraft. Saint John will be the first New Brunswick airport for PASCAN's service. This is an opportunity to connect all of southern New Brunswick with most communities in Quebec and Wabush.
