NEW WESTMINSTER, BC, Dec. 13 /CNW/ - Pebble Creek Mining Ltd. ("the Company") is pleased to announce that Mr. Antonio Ponte was elected as a director at its Annual General Meeting on December 10.

Mr. Ponte has been a venture capitalist and a veteran of the European banking industry since 1969. He founded Raifin SA in Zürich, Switzerland, in 2005 and serves as Chairman. Raifin undertakes portfolio management, corporate finance and venture capital operations. Mr. Ponte is fluent in five languages and has a broad background in portfolio management, private and investment banking, and mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Marco Becker chose to not stand for election at the meeting and the Company thanks him for his service as a director and wishes him well in his other business ventures.
