Pembina Pipeline Corporation Invests $75,000 in Volunteer Fire Departments
CALGARY, Oct. 8, 2014 /CNW/ - For the fourth year in a row, Pembina Pipeline Corporation ("Pembina" or the "Company") (TSX: PPL; NYSE: PBA) announced plans to support volunteer fire departments in the Company's operating communities. This announcement is made in the spirit of Fire Prevention Week October 5 -11, 2014 - a nation-wide initiative aimed at raising fire safety awareness.
This year, Pembina will invest a total of $75,000, which will be divided between 23 volunteer fire departments in communities across the Company's operations. Pembina's donation will support the purchase of new equipment and/or safety training.
