Pender Small Cap Opportunities Fund Capped

VANCOUVER, Feb. 2, 2015 /CNW/ - PenderFund Capital Management Ltd. ("Pender") announces that the Pender Small Cap Opportunities Fund ("the Fund") is now hard capped and is closed to all purchases from new or existing unitholders.

The closure was completed in accordance with our previous announcement that we would close the Fund on January 30, 2015. Pender has taken the decision that it is in the best interests of the Fund's unitholders to limit the amount of capital in the Fund. Keeping the Fund small allows it to continue to access opportunities that others may not.
