STRATFORD, ON, Feb. 23, 2015 /CNW/ - Earlier this evening, peopleCare met with both our front line team members and families of our residents to provide an update on our home on Mornington Ave in Stratford.
To begin, we thanked our front line team members for their hard work in ensuring that our 55 residents we relocated quickly. Their assistance both on the night of February 17, 2015, and since then, has been critical to the health and safety of our residents.
We believe our residents are quite comfortable in their new environments however it remains our goal to bring them back to Stratford as soon as possible.
We have been working closely with the Ministry of Health, the CCAC and our insurance company on the path forward. Unfortunately, we are not yet sure of when we will be able to reopen.
The patience and understanding of our residents and families has been of the utmost importance and we are grateful for it. We thank and assure them that we are working as quickly as possible, with the Ministry of Health, CCAC and our insurers on the best path forward for their return to Stratford.
