Pepsi® Releases 20 Exclusive Snapchat Lenses on Select Bottles and Cases of Pepsi
MISSISSAUGA, ON, July 17, 2017 /CNW/ - Pepsi Canada® has teamed up with Snap to release 20 exclusive Snapchat Lenses, unlocking a summer of Snap fun for Canadian Pepsi fans. Each Pepsi Lens can be unlocked via specially designed Snapcodes on select 591 ml bottles and 12x355ml cases of Pepsi all summer long.
Snap it with Pepsi is the largest program Snap has run in Canada to date. Taking full advantage of Snap's creative suite, Pepsi created uniquely branded Lenses to capitalize on key Canadian summer moments.
"Canadian summers are highly anticipated and thoroughly cherished. We know Pepsi fans love spending their summer on Snapchat and we wanted to create a way to enhance their summer experiences," says Claudia Calderon, Senior Director of Marketing, PepsiCo Beverages Canada. "With 20 exclusive Lenses to try, we're able to bring a layer of Pepsi fun to the quintessential moments of summer."
To unlock an exclusive Pepsi Lens, Canadian Snapchatters can point their Snapchat camera at the on-pack Snapcode and tap and hold to scan. Lenses will unlock for one hour, with the option to scan and unlock again and again. Each Snapcode design features an illustration that provides a sneak peek into the Lens. From music festivals to backyard BBQs, road trips to days at the pool, Pepsi's Snapcodes bring Canadian summer to life.
Pepsi Snapcodes can be found on Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Pepsi Wild Cherry and NEW limited-time-only Pepsi Lemon Twist 591 mL (20oz) bottles. Snapcodes can also be found on Pepsi and Diet Pepsi 12-pack cases.
