THORNHILL, ON, Jan. 18, 2016 /CNW/ - According to a new survey, Canadians are a pretty kissable bunch, with 80% of respondents rating the last person they smooched as "very or somewhat kissable."1 Launched just in time for Valentine's Day, the Emervel® Kissability Report asked Canadians over the age of 18 about their preferences and what makes for truly kissable lips.
Findings show that Canadians place a high value on a good smooch, with one in five (20%) under age 45 reporting they've actually ended a potential relationship because the person was a bad kisser, whereas those in a relationship said they lock lips with their partner about three times each day.
So what are Canadians looking for in an ideal kiss? Two-thirds (64%) respectively agreed that their favourite is gentle, with eyes closed. Half said they prefer a long kiss, and men and women were equally divided in their preference for tongue, with 41% of men reporting they want tongue, and 42% of women saying their preferred kiss is without.

Of the women surveyed, about one in five women (19%) said they feel their lips aren't as kissable as they'd like, with softer lips being the top thing they would change, followed by fuller lips.1
