Peter Clark Appointed President of GrowthWorks Atlantic Venture Fund

HALIFAX, June 25, 2015 /CNW/ - GrowthWorks Atlantic Venture Fund Ltd. ("Atlantic Fund") is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Clark as President & CEO effective July 1, 2015.  Mr. Clark has been Vice President, Investments of Atlantic Fund since 2012.

He replaces Tom Hayes who was appointed President & CEO when Atlantic Fund commenced operations in 2005. Mr. Hayes will remain on the Board of Directors of Atlantic Fund until December 2015 and will assist Mr. Clark with the transition. During the transition period, Mr. Hayes will continue to manage Atlantic Fund's investment portfolio.

Mr. Hayes said "I am delighted Peter has agreed to take on this role, one for which he is well suited as we continue to work closely with Atlantic Fund's portfolio companies in the months and years ahead."

The Board of Directors of the Fund wish Mr. Hayes well and thank him for his many contributions and years of service and appreciate his continued support.
