Petrowest Announces Officer Appointments
CALGARY, Aug. 18, 2014 /CNW/ - Petrowest Corporation (the Company or Petrowest) (TSX:PRW) is pleased to announce three officer appointments, reflecting a strategic re-alignment of the roles of three members of the senior management team of Petrowest.
Roy Larson, formerly Executive Vice President, Construction Division, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of the Company. Mr. Larson will be responsible for providing overall operational leadership to Petrowest and will also lead human resources matters for the Company. Mr. Larson was the founder of Roy Larson Construction Ltd., one of the businesses consolidated to form Petrowest in 2006.
Jim Moffatt has been appointed Executive Vice President, Construction Division and Sales & Marketing, which represents the addition of responsibility for the Construction Division to Mr. Moffatt's responsibilities for Sales & Marketing for the Company. Mr. Moffatt was the founder of Moffatt Construction, one of the businesses acquired by Petrowest in 2007.
Jim Coleman has been appointed Executive Chairman of Petrowest, recognizing the skills and experience that he brings to the board of directors and to the senior management team of Petrowest. Mr. Coleman became a director and Chairman of the Company in June 2012. He is a Senior Partner of Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP.
Rick Quigley, Petrowest's Chief Executive Officer, said: "With the growth of our operations, client base, personnel and equipment fleet over the last three years, we have been asking every member of the Petrowest team to step up and embrace additional responsibilities.
