About PACHI
PACHI has been tasked with the challenge to attend at least 1,000 events and interact with more than 500,000 people by Games time.
Since last summer, PACHI has been busy making new friends in communities across the Games footprint visiting more than 400 events and attractions, such as the CN Tower, Toronto Zoo, Burlington Kite Festival, Port Union Winterfest and Toronto's St. Patrick's Day Parade, just to name a few.
After becoming a very popular porcupine at nearly 200 elementary schools around the Greater Golden Horseshoe region, PACHI has even ventured to meet new friends in Timmins, Porcupine, North Bay, Sudbury and the Muskokas. Always up for an adventure, he explored some of the biggest local attractions like the Big Nickel in Sudbury and the World's Largest Muskoka Chair in Huntsville.
