PHOTO AND INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITIES - News Conference: Results of International Police Investigation into Illegal Drugs and Firearms Distribution Français
ORILLIA, ON, Feb. 22, 2017 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to join members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau tomorrow as they outline the results of a lengthy multi-jurisdictional investigation.
OPP Deputy Commissioner Rick BARNUM and representatives from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Service de Police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), and Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) will provide details of an 18-month long investigation into illegal firearms, identity theft, drug trafficking, cross border smuggling, and proceeds of crime in Ontario, Québec, and the United States.
One-on-one interviews will be available following the formal media conference. For members of the media unable to attend in person, requests for interviews with the primary spokespersons and subject matter experts can be arranged in advance via the media contact below.
