ORILLIA, ON, Oct. 13 /CNW/ - Media are invited to join members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB) at a media conference tomorrow to receive an update on an OPP-led investigation that culminated in multiple search warrants and arrests across Ontario and into Quebec that relate to a 2004 investigation into a significant indoor marihuana growing operation in a former brewery. Media will also hear about the complex investigation that targeted the operating minds of the criminal enterprise behind the marihuana operation to bring them to justice.
Police will also provide information on a number of restrained assets and properties in connection with this multi-jurisdictional investigation.
