Photo Op Advisory: Medical volunteers depart Vancouver Airport today at 10 a.m. PDT
VANCOUVER, May 2, 2015 /CNW/ - A volunteer medical team with Canadian Medical Assistance Teams, composed of 15 doctors, nurses and paramedics from across Canada, will be departing Vancouver Airport today for Nepal. They will be bringing Physician Travel Packs provided by Health Partners International of Canada, or enough donated essential medicines to provide up to 2,400 treatments. They will be working in an inflatable hospital in the Gorkha region of Nepal as assigned by the World Health Organization Health Cluster in Kathmandu.
