Photo Opportunity - Celebration marks construction progress at Toronto Rehab
TORONTO, April 20 /CNW/ - The Hon. Deb Matthews, Minister of Health and Long-Term Care, will join Toronto Rehab officials and employees to celebrate the topping-off of the hospital's new 13-storey patient care and research tower. This marks an important milestone in the building's construction.
A roof top ceremonial concrete pour and a ceremonial signing of the last construction beam (lobby photo opportunity) will take place. And as the ancient Scandinavians did to appease the tree-dwelling spirits that had been displaced during construction of their buildings, evergreen sprigs will be given to guests to be replanted in their own gardens.
