TORONTO, Oct. 31, 2016 /CNW/ - On Thursday, November 3, a ceremony commemorating Canadian Armed Forces members who made the ultimate sacrifice will take place at Manulife's global headquarters in Toronto.
As a gesture of thanks and remembrance, 11,800 Canadian flags will be planted on the front lawn of our global headquarters to honour more than 118,000 members of the Canadian Armed Forces who have fallen in service from the days of the South African War to the Afghanistan mission, as well as peacekeeping missions.

When: Thursday, November 3 at 10:30 a.m.
Where: 200 Bloor St. E., Toronto, Ontario - front lawn of Manulife's global headquarters

- Brigadier-General K.R. Cotten, Canadian Armed Forces
- Padre: Philip Ralph, Captain (Retired), National Program Director, Wounded Warriors Canada
- Warren Thomson, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of Manulife and Chairman of Manulife Asset Management
- A choir of elementary school children from Rose Avenue Public School will sing 'O Canada'
The flag garden will remain on display until Friday, November 11.
