TORONTO, Dec. 2, 2015 /CNW/ - CIBC (TSX: CM) (NYSE: CM) - Canadian movie star Rachel McAdams lights up CIBC's trading floor in Toronto to help raise millions for kids-in-need on CIBC Miracle Day.
On the first Wednesday of every December, the sales and trading team from CIBC Capital Markets and the investment advisors at CIBC Wood Gundy donate their trading fees and commissions to organizations that support kids in communities across Canada. Through the efforts of employees and clients, $5.5 million was raised last year. Since 1984, nearly $79 million has been donated to hundreds of children's charities across Canada.
