Pitch Perfect: Saveria is the Third Chosen Artist on Season 2 of CTV's THE LAUNCH to Release a New, Original Song

 "Down to the Roots" Available Now Everywhere

TORONTO, Feb. 13, 2019 /CNW/ - As announced on tonight's episode of CTV's THE LAUNCH, R&B/Pop artist Saveria from London, Ont., was chosen by world-renowned music executive and CEO/Founder of Big Machine Label Group Scott Borchetta, Québec pop icon Marie-Mai, celebrity mentor Max Kerman, and music producer Jon Levine to record the new original single "Down to the Roots". The third single from the smash-hit music series was released to radio stations across the country immediately following tonight's broadcast. The song is also available now on music services everywhere. Viewers can catch-up on Episode 1 – 3 on Saturday, Feb. 16, beginning at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV.

"I'm so happy right now..."Down to the Roots" is my song!" said Saveria.

The mentors were mesmerized with Saveria's subtle rendition of Lady Gaga's "Born this Way" during her audition. Scott thought Saveria had all the talent, but also thought her artistic vision could use focus. Following the audition process with all five emerging artists – Charlie the Kid, James Clayton, Old Soul Rebel, Polina Grace, and Saveria  – the mentors chose Saveria and Vancouver duo Old Soul Rebel as the two artists to record and perform their own versions of "Down to the Roots" in front of a live studio audience.
