MONTREAL, Oct. 8, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Place Montréal Trust, an Ivanhoé Cambridge property, invites breastfeeding mothers to take part in a "nurse-in" - a public breastfeeding session - in its food court this Friday, October 11, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
The aim of the event is to demonstrate Place Montréal Trust's support for, and commitment to, the community of breastfeeding mothers, as well as to encourage Montrealers to stand behind moms who want to feed their babies wherever they choose.
The centre provides breastfeeding facilities in addition to urging mothers who visit Place Montréal Trust to feed their babies in its common areas.
Place Montréal Trust is the first downtown Montreal shopping centre to join the "Route du lait," a project launched October 5 by the Nourri-Source Montreal organization to promote breastfeeding in public areas.
