Planting trees in December: Alberta's most innovative farmers strike again

PEACE RIVER, AB, Dec. 17, 2013 /CNW/ - This week, while it is -30C at the Rabiey family farm east of Manning, Alberta, The Carbon Farmer will be planting about 6,500 more trees. Thankfully, they'll be going in the ground near Masaka, Uganda. This grassroots community driven project started the good old fashioned farmer way, on Twitter.
