Government of Canada awards $300,000 in financial assistance to Lac-Brome SME

The Honourable Denis Paradis, Member of Parliament for Brome-Missisquoi, acting on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for CED, today announced that a repayable contribution of $300,000 has been granted to Plastiques Moulin to help it improve its productivity and production capacity.
Established in Lac-Brome since 1985, Plastiques Moulin specializes in the high-volume moulding of plastic household items such as tote bins of various sizes, storage boxes, drawer carts and laundry baskets for Sterilite, one of the biggest brands in the industry in North America.
The company wants to enhance its performance to continue growing. The funding awarded through CED's Quebec Economic Development Program will help Plastiques Moulin acquire and install production equipment, including three digital presses.
